SugarCRM – What does SugarCRM offer?
1. Simplified CRM Designs
It is normal for an average user to conduct a CRM Comparison survey of his own, for the purposes of getting information on which CRM solution is designed for the average sales and customer service representative. Such classification is the most common among them users, and most if not all of them are looking for a simplified and uncluttered interface. Such design is made possible by Sugar engineers, as each of its CRM programs is configured to let users focus on selling to new customers and supporting existing customers.
2. Deployment of Vital Features Only
Unlike the “kitchen sink” interface of its fierce competition, Salesforce.com, Sugar is designed to be more organized and had managed to get rid of features that users don’t need. In other words, users are encouraged to “get down to business as usual.” As you try to compare CRM services, such minor details become major when it directly affects the business. With Salesforce.com, users are forced to bear down features that will only complicate the operations of the business. For instance, when users activate Chatter™ in their CRM implementation, the entire computer screen is unnecessarily committed to an internal company “chat” solution. If you analyze this picture, you will see that it’s a great discomfort for users as they will have to scroll down further to search for action commands or customer information.
3. An Intuitive User Interface
As a user gets more familiar with using SugarCRM, the natural trend is to incorporate its usage into the system and include it in its normal stream of business processes. This prompts the user to look for more functions that can be more useful from the CRM software. With the modular design of SugarCRM, a user can easily add the functionality that he needs while an intuitive user interface is maintained. Such setting is not possible for a Salesforce.com CRM as its user interface remains to be complex and rigid.
“SugarCRM goes two better on Salesforce.com, by offering its software as an on-premises install, and as an appliance that’s designed to be easily added to an existing IT infrastructure. These may be especially appealing to those organizations that, for whatever reason, can’t or won’t use a cloud-based application, in cases where the entire focus is on inside sales, or where the reliability of WAN connections is less than ideal. ”
